Clubs meeting this week! Be sure to #GetInvolved! See below for a list of clubs, their meeting days and locations and their Remind 101 codes. To join a club’s Remind 101, text that code to 81010 or enter that code in the Remind 101 app on your iPad.
Girls, it’s time to start pre-season conditioning for soccer! We will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school outside room 252. Bring anyone interested in playing soccer. Now is the time to show how hard you want it.
Any junior or senior planning to attend prom this year can participate in a Krispy Kreme fundraiser to raise money for their own prom ticket. Prom will be held at the Museum of Science and Industry on Friday, May 15th and tickets cost $120 per person. Fundraising forms can be found outside the Activities Office in the Cafe or online on the Activities webpage. Fundraiser forms and money are due by Tuesday, February 18th and pick up is on Thursday, February 20th after school.
Interested in joining the Girls Track Team? There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, January 23rd in Room 131 at 3:30 pm. Please plan to attend. If you have any questions, please see Coach Krawisz in Room 173.
Auditions for Chicago will be Monday, January 27 from 5-8PM. Callbacks will be on Wednesday, Jan 29 from 6-9PM. Students auditioning for leads should prepare the audition music that will be posted by this Friday, January 11th on the google classroom page. There will also be practice tracks for students. To join the musical page, students can use the code: xt72hi. Students wishing to audition for minor roles or to be in the chorus/ensemble, should prepare a verse/chorus of a song of their choice to sing for their audition. All students will be asked to dance as part of the audition. Students should be prepared to stay for the entire time of the audition. Questions: See Mr. Hammann in the choir room 147.
Attention all Mathletes! The Lemont Invitational is on Wednesday, January 29th. The bus will leave school at 4:45 pm. We will meet after school in Room 278 for snacks and practice prior to leaving for the competition.
Boys Volleyball is hosting Open Gym every Friday morning from 6-7:30 am in the Main Gym. See Coach Grevengoed, Coach Westerburg or Coach Costa with questions.
The Friends of Community High School District 218 will be hosting their 1st Annual Trivia Night on Friday, February 7th at 6:30 pm at the Incarnation Catholic Church located at 5757 W. 127th Street in Palos Heights. Tables teams of 10 will compete for cash prizes! Register online at: https://forms.gle/q52pmUQvzmexNRPu6 and pay at the door. Cost is $15 per person. This is a bring your own event so be sure to bring your own snacks and beverages to share with your table!
