STUDENT PARKING INFORMATION

2024- 2025

TO OBTAIN A PARKING PERMIT:

Student parking facilities are limited; therefore, parking privileges are restricted and issued on a need basis.

A parking fee of $75.00 will be assessed for the full year. Payments could be made using cash or checks made out to Richards High School in the Activities Office.

After completing the application, please have your student stop by Mrs. Bages office (In Room 126) to check on the application approval and make the payment. 

  1. First priority will be given to students participating in the Cooperative Training Program.
  2. Second priority will be given to seniors showing a definite need to drive. A letter should be presented from a parent/guardian along with the parking permit application explaining the situation. When need is job-related, the letter must contain the name and address of the place of employment and the name and phone number of the immediate supervisor.
  3. Other requests for parking assignments will be reviewed with seniors having priority over juniors and sophomores.
  4. Driving applications for students living less than one mile from school will not be ordinarily considered.
  5. A copy of the student’s driver’s license and insurance card must be included with the application.
  6. A signed copy of the parking regulations must also be attached to all applications.

WARNING

UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER’S EXPENSE.
