Richards Bulldogs

Booster Club

What is the Booster Club?

As parents, one of the most important ways we can participate in our students lives is to support their school activities. The Richards Booster Club does this and more! We support the activities of all students by organizing events and raising money for the benefit of EVERY HLR student.  We meet every 1st Wednesday of the month in the PAC Lobby @ 7 pm.  Please feel to join us!

What do we do?

Over the past few years we have awarded more than $80,000 in Student College Assistance Grants, helped teams and organizations purchase equipment and other items, and donated time at various school events.  You can help us continue these and other activities by joining the Booster Club.  We do not require you to volunteer your time at our events, but welcome any and all parental support you can offer.  We are always looking for volunteers at home football concessions and spirit wear sales during the school year.

Who are we and why join?

We are the only parent organization that represents the entire student body.  This is the perfect way for you to show your support and commitment to your student’s school and community.  If you wish to volunteer, the Booster Club will donate $20 back to the sport/club/activity of your choice each time you donate your time.  Lastly, if your senior plans to apply for one of the Booster Grants/Scholarships, you must be a family member this year.

How join and what next?

For a family membership, please complete this membership and return it with cash or check (we do not accept credit/debit cards) for $10.00 at any back-to-school event, home football games, some basketball games, seasonal sports meetings, some performing arts events, or in the Main Office throughout the school year.  Watch your email if you are a member or follow the H.L. Richards High School Facebook and/or pages for more information on upcoming meetings and events!
