Drive in Movie Night on Saturday, October 23rd

Student Council is hosting a Drive-In Movie on Saturday, October 23rd at 6:45 pm in the parking lot.  We'd like YOU to vote for your favorite Halloween Movie!  The one with the most votes will be shown that evening.  Vote online now.

Senior Spiritwear Order

Student Council is sponsoring the annual Senior Spirit wear sale.  All orders must be submitted online at:  https://richardsseniors2021.itemorder.com/sale.  The designs were created by current seniors and voted on amongst the senior class.  These are the top two designs.  Clothing must be ordered by October 24th and will be delivered in school the week of November 8th.  Be sure to order early!  No late orders will be accepted.

Senior Yearbook Pictures

Please be advised that Lifetouch will be at Richards on Monday, October 25, 2021 to take photos of any Senior who has not yet been photographed for the yearbook.  You will need to report to the LRC (AP Lounge area) during your lunch period. If you do not have your photo taken that day and haven’t already taken it, you will not be included in the yearbook.

Community Service Opportunity

Help is needed at the 1st United Methodist Church on Central in Oak Lawn to assist with maintaining their pumpkins at their annual pumpkin patch.   Please contact Ms. Gesell to volunteer at scouter9933@yahoo.com or at 708-955-6418.

Underclass Yearbook Picture Retakes

Underclass yearbook picture retakes will be held on Thursday, October 28th.   Lifetouch will be in the PAC during periods 1-8.  Students can go during their lunch or ask their teacher for a pass to take the yearbook picture.  Pictures can be ordered online at mylifetouch.com.

Math Lab Tutoring Help

The Richards Math Lab will be open during all lunch periods starting Monday, August 30th. The math lab is a place where you will be able to stop in at the beginning of your lunch period to receive help on any of your math work. This is an incredible resource to have available so if you ever need help in your math class, please do not hesitate to go to the math lab!  If you would like to go to the math lab, you

must come down to the LRC at the beginning of your lunch period in place of going to your homeroom.
