Below is a list of all the summer happenings at Richards High School.

Golf Summer Training

All students entering 9-12th grade are invited to attend golf summer training.  They will meet every Tuesday this summer from 9:00-11:00 am at Stoney Creek Golf Course.  Cost is $12 each week for a bucket of range balls.  Students should bring water, dress accordingly and bring their clubs, if they have them.  If you have no clubs, no problem as the coaches will have them available.  Contact Coach Peck ([email protected]) or Coach Tesauro ([email protected]) with any questions.

Cross Country Summer Training

The Richards Cross Country Team will be training over the summer.  All incoming and current students are invited to attend.  Their first training date is Tuesday, June 25th at 9:00 am at Richards.  Click here for all team training dates and times.  Join the team Remind app by texting @richardsbo to 81010.  If you have any questions, please contact Coach Krawisz ([email protected] or Coach Kawulia ([email protected]).

Color Guard Summer Schedule

Interested in joining the colorguard (flagline) next school year? Join them over the summer on the following dates from 6-8 pm to get a head start: May 29, June 5, June 12, June 19, June 26, July 10 and July 17. The expectation is that you would attend the majority of these as we will be preparing for the upcoming season competitions. We will meet at 6:00 pm on these nights at Door S8 on the southside of the building. If you have questions, please reach out to Coach Sara at [email protected].

Band Camp

The HL Richards Band will host band camp for two weeks starting July 22-August 2.  They will meet from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each weekday.  Students should plan on bringing comfortable clothing for the weather as they will be outside a good portion of the day.  Hats, water and sunscreen are suggested.  This camp is mandatory for all band students so they can prepare for the upcoming marching season.  Contact Mr. Ponce as soon as possible if there are any issues at [email protected].
