SAT PREP WORKROOMS
Attention Juniors:
If you are interested in using your workroom time to get some tips and strategies for the upcoming SAT (April 12), Richards is offering an SAT Prep opportunity. Read the information below:
WHO: This opportunity is available to Richards juniors only. It is not required. Juniors who do choose to sign up are committing to attend all sessions during their workrooms. Space is limited per period, so sign up quickly if this is for you. The sign up deadline is Dec. 19, 2022.
WHAT: Richards will run SAT Prep sessions during workrooms in the weeks leading up to the Wednesday, April 12 test at HLR. Prep session will include general SAT overview, test taking strategies, and elements specific to each section of the test (Math, English/Reading, & Writing).
WHEN: SAT prep sessions will run during workrooms (15 minutes) from January 17 to April 11. Juniors who sign up and are enrolled are expected to attend all sessions.
WHERE: Participating juniors will be notified of the specific classroom they will need to report to for each SAT Prep session.
HOW: Participating juniors will report to the assigned classroom for workroom on the dates listed above. Taking part in SAT Prep is a full attendance commitment for all sessions. Participants will see their workroom schedule change in Skyward, so they cannot pick and choose which sessions to attend and which to remain in their current workroom.
WHY: This is a great opportunity for juniors to become more familiar and comfortable with the SAT, how the test is constructed, how to approach questions and sections, and be provided with a good resource to assist with the preparation. Knowing what to anticipate and how to approach the test will help students maximize their performance and score their best.
INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING?
If you would like to participate in the SAT Prep workroom, please complete this SAT PREP WORKROOM sign up form by December 19, 2022.
