I am the social worker for students in our Build and Foundations Special Education Program.

 

SERVICES TO STUDENTS

I provide services to general education students with the last name L-Z. These services include but are not limited too:

* Providing crisis intervention services

* Assisting students in understanding and accepting self and others

* Helping students in developing appropriate social interaction, conflict resolution, anger management and coping skills

 

SERVICES TO FAMILIES

* Assist in utilizing community resources 

* Help families to enhance their student's school experience

* Assess problems affecting students' educational adjustment 

 

SCHOOL-COMMUNITY LIAISON

* Obtain and coordinate community resources to meet students needs

* Help the system respond effectively to each child's needs
