NHS - General Information

NHS is a national honorary organization established to give recognition to students who excel in character, scholarship, leadership and service. Membership determined by a Faculty Council each Fall and new members are inducted during an evening ceremony.

 

To be eligible for membership, a student must meet the following requirements:

 

Juniors

  • A 3.5 cumulative GPA (unweighted)
  • Participation in at least 4 clubs or activities over the past 4 semesters
  • Demonstration of outstanding character and leadership qualities
Seniors
  • A 3.5 cumulative GPA (unweighted)
  • Participation in at least 5 clubs or activities over the past 6 semesters
  • Demonstration of outstanding character and leadership qualities 

 

Members of NHS participate in school and community service projects.

Meetings will be held on Tuesday every three weeks.
Members will have the option of attending the meeting in Room 258 at 7:15 AM or 3:30 PM. 
The dates of 1st semester meetings for the 21/22 school year are listed below.
