- I began at Richards in the 2019-2020 school year.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago through the Advanced Standing Program in 2016. Since then, I’ve worked in public schools as a school social worker, supporting students, families, and staff.
In my work, I take a whole-student approach, understanding each child within the context of their environment, relationships, and personal experiences. I support students through life changes, help them build coping skills, and guide them as they process emotions or past challenges. I also work closely with neurodivergent students to help them recognize and value their unique strengths and ways of thinking.
I am passionate about this work because I believe strong relationships and a caring school community can help students thrive. My goal is to bring empathy, understanding, and accountability to every interaction, creating a safe and supportive space for students to grow and learn.
