2025-26 Student Parking
The parking application for the 2025-2026 school year is now open for current junior and seniors. Any student that wishes to drive school year must apply.
To apply for a permit, students and parents should complete the following steps together:
- Go to the Google Form HLR Parking Application
- Review the parking regulations.
- Have the student’s driver’s license information readily available.
- Have a digital copy (picture, pdf, etc.) of the current proof of insurance to upload.
If a student is approved for parking, they will receive an email with instructions on how and when to pay and pick up their permits. The parking fee will be $75.00 for the school year.
Please note that applying for a parking permit DOES NOT guarantee that a student will be approved for a permit. Student parking is limited to 141 spaces and on average 220 students apply every year; therefore, every student that applies will not be granted a permit. Priority is given to seniors and students with a late start or early dismissal built into their schedule.
While students are encouraged to participate in activities and athletics at Richards, participation in athletics and activities is not the sole determining factor in students receiving a parking permit.
