As part of our ongoing efforts to improve safety across our campus, we are implementing new policies and protocols for our Homecoming Football Game this Friday, September 8th. These policies will remain in place for all of our football games throughout the year.
1) Starting this Friday, we will no longer allow students to enter football games with backpacks, purses, fannypacks, or other bags. Please be sure to leave all bags and purses in your locker or at home if you are attending the game.
2) No student is allowed to enter the school during or after the game unless they are in an athletic program or school activity and are accompanied by a coach or sponsor of that program or activity.
3) We will be utilizing Magnetometers at each stadium entrance. All guests will be asked to walk through the Magnetometers before entering. These devices detect weapons and other metal objects. If you walk through the Magnetometer and set it off, you may be asked to empty your pockets and/or bag and walk through again. All attendees are subject to search if needed.
4) All Richards students must present a valid school ID to attend the game. Any students without a current ID will not be allowed in.
5) Any minors that do not attend Richards High School must be accompanied by a parent or an adult.
6) If you leave the game, you will not be able to come back in. Richards will stop selling tickets for our football game after halftime.
