Hello! I'm Ms. Oglesby and I'm thrilled to be teaching Biology at Richards. This is my seventh year working at District 218 and my second year teaching at Richards. I did my undergrad in Chemistry and Math at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. I went to Governor's State for Science Education and my Master's at Concordia University.
My goal is to create a classroom where my students are actively engaged in learning about real-world phenomenon. Students who come to class ready to participate, ask questions, and collaborate with their peers will have a successful and rewarding year. I believe every student has the potential to succeed in biology. The key is to be curious, learn from mistakes, and apply what we learn in class. I'm here to support you every step of the way, and I look forward to a fantastic year of discovery.
