Everyone feels stressed sometimes. Stress can happen to anyone — no matter your age, gender, or situation. When we’re stressed, our bodies and minds react. You might feel upset, tired, or have trouble sleeping. Learning how to manage stress can help you stay healthy and feel better.

Teen Depression
Many teens feel sad or down sometimes, but depression is more serious. About 1 in 5 teens will have at least one episode of depression before becoming adults.

Suicide Prevention
When parents and caregivers know what depression looks like, they can notice changes in their teen’s mood or behavior. If your teen seems very sad, hopeless, or different than usual, it may be time to talk to a doctor or mental health professional.

Substance Use & Addiction
Our Social Workers can connect you with our district Substance Use counselor. She assists students learn about the risks of using drugs, alcohol, or tobacco. The program also offers support and information to help students make healthy choices.
