Registration for 2020-21 School Year

Dear Parent/Guardian,                                                                                                       

Registration for the 2020-21 school year will begin on June 29, 2020. Families are expected to complete registration online.  Those families living with a host will need to set an appointment with the registrar during office hours.

Please be advised of the District 218 registration requirements:

  • Residency Verification for incoming 9th grade students, transfer students, and returning students with a new address
  • Health Records (Freshman: Physical and Dental; Senior: Meningococcal Vaccine)
  • Skyward Online Data Verification for ALL students
  • Fee Payment for ALL students can be viewed and paid through Parent Skyward Access

Detailed information on the steps required by ALL returning students and incoming freshmen can be found on the backside of this letter.  Families have several options for registration:

  • In Person, Monday through Thursday, By Appointment Only.
  • The building is open from 9:00 am - 11:00 am until July 30th.
  • Anyone entering the building will be required to wear a face mask at all times.

Once you complete all steps of the registration process, your student’s schedule will be released through Skyward as early as July 27, 2020. All steps of the registration process must be complete before your child may attend school.

What documents are needed for Residency Verification? 


You must provide all of the following documents.

*  Current IL driver’s licenses or State of IL photo ID

*  Current mortgage / lease / property tax bill

*  2 Current bills (utility / vehicle registration

*  Birth Certificate (Freshman and Transfer in students)

 Why are freshmen required to have a current dental exam? 

A new Illinois law took effect on January 1, 2019 requiring all students entering 9th grade to have a current dental exam. 

Who qualifies for a fee waiver?

Families that receive direct certification from the State of Illinois and/or families who qualify based on income. If you plan to apply for a fee waiver you can download an application from our website or pick one up during office hours. Please call the Main Office (708-499-2550) with further questions.

How will I know when my student’s schedule is released?

Student schedules are only released after the entire registration process has been completed and will be made available as early as July 27, 2020.

How will my student get their locker information?

Locker information is located on the student’s schedule

How will my student get their iPad?

Returning students are expected to bring their iPads to school on the first day.  Freshmen will receive their iPads during the first week of school. 

How will I know where my student’s bus stop is located?

Bus route information is located on the district and school website. Please call the Main Office (708-499-2550) with further questions.

When will my student be able to purchase PE uniforms?

PE uniforms will be available for purchase during the first week of school.
