#449 Drafting/CAD III - Engineering Drafting and Principles of Design is an advanced course in the field of Computer Aided Engineering Graphics CAD (Computer-Aided Design). Course activities provide students with opportunities to study a variety of areas such as drafting standards and techniques, engineering drawings, 3D model design, materials and rendering and animation. Most drawings will be done on a computer using Autodesk software which can help lead to industry certification. Enrollment and earning a grade of "A" or "B" in #449 Drafting/CAD III - Engineering Drafting and Principles of Design will earn students 3 credit hours for course MDT-145 Computer-Aided Graphics & 3 credit hours for course MDT-160 3D Modeling & Design (Beginning 2018-19) at Moraine Valley Community College.
