What is the Booster Club?
As parents, one of the most important ways we can participate in our students lives is to support their school activities. The Richards Booster Club does this and more! We support the activities of all students by organizing events and raising money for the benefit of EVERY HLR student. We meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Room 110 @ 7 pm. Please feel to join us!
What do we do?
Over the past few years we have awarded more than $75,000 in Student College Assistance Grants, helped teams and organizations purchase equipment and other items (over $11,000 last year alone!), and donated time and money for Senior Lock-In and other school event. You can help us continue these and other activities by joining the Booster Club. We do not require you to volunteer your time at our events, but welcome any and all parental support you can offer.
Who are we and why join?
We are the only parent organization that represents the entire student body. This is the perfect way for you to show your support and commitment to your student’s school and community. If your senior plans to apply for one of the Booster Grants/Scholarships, you must be a family member this year.
How join and what next?
For a family membership, please complete this form and return it with cash or check (we do not accept credit/debit cards) for $20.00 at any back-to-school event, home football games, some basketball games or in the Main Office throughout the school year. If you wish to volunteer to raise funds for the Booster Club or help with other club-sponsored activities, please consider volunteering for one of our many events. For each volunteer slot, the Booster Club will donate $20 back to the sport/club/activity of your choice. Watch your email if you are a member or follow the H.L. Richards High School Facebook and/or pages for more information on upcoming meetings and events!
