Child Development Lab
- Retakes are encouraged, if a student wishes to retake a test, they may retake the entire test or retake specific objectives not mastered on the unit assessment.
Students will be required to complete the study guide and demonstrate a level of relearning.
Once a student requests the retake, they will have one week to complete the relearning required however the retake needs to be completed prior to the next common unit assessment.
Retake Policy for Child Development Lab
- A retake for the lesson planning assessment is not available due to the nature of the lab based class.
- Retakes are built into the process, as students are required to turn these assignments in before they teach so that recommended changes can be made prior to the student turning in the lesson plan for a final assessment grade.
- When a student is absent on a day they are scheduled to teach, an email or a remind message should be sent to Mrs. Reczkiewicz so that a preschool lesson can be created for the preschool children, there are not additional teaching assignments so attendance on preschool days is very important.
