Mission Statement

Mathletes is a competitive South Suburban Conference (SSC) club where students have the opportunity to work with mathematical problems on a fun, competitive level.  Although open to any student, this club is geared toward students with excellent mathematical ability.  It is recommended for students with honors level classes.  Competitions allow students to compete individually, orally and/or as a group.  The purpose of the SSC Mathematics League is to recognize independent study, stimulate interest in mathematics, and provide a wholesome meeting ground for students of mathematics through academic competition.
